There is no shortage of great metal in our area. I recently got to chat with the guys from
Outta My Head. This band was nominated for 3 different categories of the Extreme Music Awards in
2025 (The best show in town #IYKYK) Best New Band, Best Prog/Math Metal, and
Album of the Year. They are gearing up for a run in 2026.
You can catch them August 9 th at the Yin Yang Festival at the Saratoga Springs City
Center. Also at Empire Live October 25th at the Dark Echo Expo.
WABY: Who is the best band or artist you’ve seen live?
OMH:We have seen more local bands live than major acts so honestly some of the local
guys that come to mind are Inverter from Boston MA. we played with them last year and
they were definitely one of our favorites. Those guys should be a household name! Most
of our live show consumption is at the local level and there is so much undiscovered
talent out there.
WABY:Who are you, where are you from, and what else have you done?
OMH: We are Dedicated Fathers, Brothers, Husbands, Family, Friends, and Musicians just
trying to balance them all through this thing called.
WABY:What or Who are your musical influences?
OMH:We have many musical influences, guys like Tim Henson from Polyphia and Michael
Romeo from Symphony X. Two guys that Eddie admires and would love to someday
pull off what these guys are doing. Anthony Admires and is influenced by his late father;
Growing up watching him play music with his family was some of the greatest times of
his life. Kirk admires any musician that breaks the mold and can just pour themselves

WABY:On Bandcamp you have an EP and a few singles, what is next for Outta My Head?
OMH:Well we're constantly writing new singles so there's gonna be a steady supply of new
music. but we also have a killer music video out for our latest single Ghost of Me. We are always working, and always writing. We have a much bigger library of music than what is currently on Bandcamp... trying to catch up with that, but everything is available
on all of the Major streaming.
