Nonpoint show review 8/7/26 Empire Live

Last night, for the first time in over eight years, Nonpoint returned to the Capital Region. Playing to a packed house at Empire Live, they rocked the joint - and WABY was there to take it all in.

Ahead of their upcoming 11th studio album, Nonpoint brought the Even More Outta Control tour through Albany. Supporting them were Hed P.E., Spine Shank, and Soil, turning the night into a full-on mid 2000’s throwback. Every opener delivered high energy, and the crowd was engaged from the first note to the last.

The audience was a great mix of all ages - one of the things about being a nationally touring band for almost 30 years, is watching your fan base grow and evolve with you. Nonpoint has done an impressive job bringing in younger fans while keeping longtime supporters fired up.

On September 18th, Nonpoint will release The Last Word. They played both of their new singles “Is it” and “Red Yeti” weaving them seamlessly into a setlist that spanned their entire 29-yearcareer and kept the energy electric through the entire show.

Elias shared how happy he was to be back, and the WABY friends and family made sure to really fill the room with hard heavy and loud energy. Make sure the next time they roll through you score a ticket - this is a show you don’t want to miss.
