What Drives The Weak

Dustin Rose of Assault on The Living throws 5 heavy hitters your way.

The death metal scene in Upstate New York went from small to huge rather quickly in the 90s and 2000s. Local promoters and bands were booking a ton of sick shows that featured hardcore, death metal and punk bands. A major contributor to the Death metal community and most brutally known for his demonic vocals in the band Assault On The Living. Blazing their own trail and influencing tons of new bands from the 518 over the past 25 years. WABY asked Dustin Rose what are his top 5 heavy hitters?

"All these albums came to me at a time I really needed them and all influenced me in a positive way. They all share similar aspects and all equally amazing for their time. I've also managed to share the stage with a few of these bands and meet them and formed lasting friendships. Saying that I'm grateful is an understatement!"   -Dustin Rose
