Ralph:<\/strong> Give us a brief history of The Dionysus Effect?<\/p>\n\n

Christoph: <\/strong>We joke that there is Dionysus 0.0, 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 Sean, our guitar player and I have played off and on for a long time. But it wasn'tUntil  we nailed down a true rhythm section with Quinn joining that Dionysus 3.0 was born. Real magic started happening. We've been together a little over a year. <\/p>\n\n

Ralph:<\/strong> What are your influences pet peeves about recording music and or fetishes?<\/p>\n\n

Christoph:<\/strong> I guess you could say the metronome is a type of dominatrix in the studio and let it spank us to make sure we are tight and on time. Nothing beats playing live but getting those songs right on the recording is probably my true fetish that drives me crazy until it is right.  <\/p>\n\n

Ralph: <\/strong>Touring is a very important part of a band's growth, will you tour in 2025?<\/p>\n\n

Christoph: <\/strong>It's a balance we love playing shows but we are geared up with all these new songs. We've played NYC a few times and that's been really special and we loving playing home too. <\/p>\n\n

Ralph: <\/strong>Where are you recording it? Who are you recording with you?<\/p>\n\n

Christoph:<\/strong> We record in Peekskill at Sean's stuido. We are a damn lucky to have a place to record to free and a great producer to boot. We have some surprises in store, and looking into doing another project as well. It's an interesting time with a lot of directions to go. Definitely going in a goth aggressive direction, and that could lead to something new. When we recorded A Loving Way for the horror film The Fort we knew we needed to go in this goth direction, though we love playing rock songs like Darryl and Never Never. It does feel like there needs to be two projects to serve these two different vibes. Stay tuned @THEDIONYSUSEFFECT<\/p>\n\n
